Day 1 – 8 august 2025
I just entered the apartment. It looks like it has been lived for a really long time. There are a lot of old phots and postcards with boobs on them. There is a board with “Petter 0 – 1 Damer” written on it. Wonder what that means. This Compass Club thing must have something to do with the flat. Guess I’ll figure that out. The Russian orienteering shirt and the dildo are also a nice touch.
Day 5
Five days in and no one showed up yet. I heard that Norwegians are a bit colder than Italians but that’s too much. I’ve been looking around the apartment to see what else is in here and I found a sex doll with Liam from One Direction’s face on it. This is going to be fun.
Day 8
Finally, someone arrived. There is this girl from Germany that is also an exchange student, and this other guy named Anselm. He is half German and half Norwegian I think, I clearly did not understand what he said very well. Anyways, nice to be surrounded by old allies though. Anselm claims he is a pro athlete or some shit, just bragging about being like Lighting McQueen, talking about how “I am speed”. He seems cool.
Day 9
The last component of the team has arrived. It is the infamous Petter that was written on the board. He really looks Norwegian I would say. He also runs, but more than everything he works. Like really working a lot. I think he is an electrician. In the free time he is taking his engineering degree. Nice guy.
Day 22
We are starting to get along. I like that we cook for each other and eat together, and they cook good. Yes, obviously the first thing that I think about is the food. I am Italian, what the fuck would you expect?
Day 53
I have discovered this thing called Cava Sunday. It’s the best thing Trondheim has offered me since I got here. I am currently on a 5 Sundays streak. I got to say, Norwegian are crazy about drinking. Starting to drink at 11 in the morning (because why not), not being able to make rational thoughts by 3 in the afternoon, raiding the McDonalds afterwards and calling it a day. What a dream. Obviously, Anselm and Petter do not usually go to Cava. That’s because they’re either really into sport or are gay.

Day 82
Yesterday I went to Downtown and drank way too much. At home I ended up with my head in the toilet bowl at 3 am, and I was even doing so well that Anselm came to the bathroom to cheer for me like I was in a puking competition. Now I am off to Innderdalen until tomorrow for a “camping trip with the boys”. The guys advised me to leave Moholt for the next days, because today and tomorrow there is this big party where everyone that lived in the flat is invited back for a dinner and party. That’s so cute.
Day 83
That was really the opposite thing of cute. I first understood it last night when my friends sent me pictures of basically the whole flat furniture thrown out of the window. When I got back the apartment was not that bad though. Except for the light wires that had been cut with scissor. And the door to my room that has several holes in it. And pieces of glasses literally everywhere. I heard there even was a dick measuring competition at the party. Shame I missed it, I would have done so well.

Day 104
The exam period has started, and the guys have chilled out again. No drinking and a lot of training. Is that the winter arc? Those bastards have not been really good Norwegian teachers for me thus far. The only thing they thought me was “Dine rumpa er so fin, skal vi pule?”. Apparently, that is one of the most essential phrases to know when I’m out drinking, but so far I can’t say it’s been working too well. We also watched Flåklypa Grand Prix. In Norwegian, without subtitles. Guess I am half Norwegian now.
Day 126
We had one last meal together with the guys and some of their friends. Basically, a dinner with Norwegian athletes, plus me (we did not include the German girl because she is a vegetarian – poor girl, terrible disease to have). Anselm made this thing called pinnekjøtt, that required a really long preparation. Like two days long preparation. I kind of got attached to it. But it turned out really good. Nice stuff.
Day 130 – 15 December 2025
My time here has finished. That was fucking fun. I was not right about Norwegians, they can really be warm people. Except for the two guys I’ve been living with. They are two assholes. I will miss them. It was a pleasure being a temporary member of Compass Club. But I really hope to be back to destroy the flat when the next party with past people happens. Tusen takk, vi sees og god jul!
